How to fix the hood to a ford bronco II?

ok so i was closing the hood and its stoped at the latch and now it wont come up or down and there is nothing in the hood but when i was replacing the spark plugs i heard a click i think it was the latch but how do i fix it cuz i have to go in about thirty min or so to my gf's house to meet her parents ...
