SPOILER Blue Valentine question...?

ok, so Ryan Gosling's character basically raised another guy's kid? The ****** who beats him up? This totally changes the dynamic of thier argument following Cindy's seeing her old bf (the ******) at a liquor store; during the scene Ryan Gosling gets pissed and we're supposed to think he's a paranoid jerk, but it turns out he had every right to react as he did? Amazing movie btw, so much better than Black Swan; why didn't this movie get more recognition? BTW the brooklyn bridge scene in which she tells him she's pregnant was 100% improvised, and he actually straddled the edge of the bridge w no safety net; Michelle w had no idea he was going to do that, and her pleading him to come down was the actress pleading to the actor.. anyway, phenomenal film, people should support it
