Anyone know how to make a fleece cape with hood for a toddler?

I'm looking to make a fleece cape to go with my 10-month-old's Snow White costume for Halloween since it looks like it's going to be pretty cold outside. I would also like it to look nice enough to wear with her Christmas dresses as well. I have 1 yard of red fleece and some satin ribbon. I can sew so that's no problem.
