Has anyone lost a parent to suicide?

my dad killed himself in august of 2005....he was my best friend....its going on 3 years and im still not over it....i dont think you can ever recover fully from the loss of a parent...especially to suicide....but...everything happens for a reason....you say that your daughter was born exactly one month after you dad ped....start paying attention to everything that your daughter does....you might see your father in her....they always say when someone dies....a new life is born
