Where were the people who say that the invasion of Iraq was a good thing because Saddam was an evil tyrant...?

...when he was the USA & Britain's best buddy? Where was their concern for the good citizens of Iraq then? Where was their concern when thousands of Iraqis (mostly children) were dying due to the sanctions imposed on Iraq? Why weren't they screaming in protest when the USA & Britain were selling Saddam billions of dollars worth of arms, not to mention sarin & tabun nerve gas? Is it because these people are actually brainless sheep who would support the US government no matter what acts of m murder or war crimes it commits?
