MY STUPIDITY LEFT ME LOCKED OUT OF MY WINDOWS XP! (i'm not shouting)?

I'm not sure what you mean by you can't insert DVDs/CDs because it's blocked? Is there a physical problem with the optical disc drive? If so you will need to get that replaced as any pword recovery/resetting tools will require a functioning disc drive.
