How do I purify my drinking water and remove the fluoride?
I was really worried about fluoride in our tap water because I used it for mixing with my baby formula. A baby that is getting too much fluoride can develop dental flourosis, which can affect your teeth for life! So I asked the city clerk how to obtain a water report on fluoride levels in our water. They test it once a year and the report is available to the public by request. Turns out, the levels are so small, it's not enough to even worry about it. First, before you go through all the trouble to purify your water, you might want to obtain the report to see if it is even worth it. Generally, you want the level to be below 1.2ppm.
