What does it mean when a guy always looks at you?

I've got a guy in one of my cles who I catch looking at me 90% of the time. It may sound immature especially considering we're in grade 12, but seriously, he's definitely heard from my friends I like him and I've even heard from some of his friends he likes me too, and for years now this eye contact thing's been happening. When we ever talk, it's always so awkward and I feel really uncomfortable!!! I just don't know how to talk to him without being nervous!!! Our conversations never seem to last or go on like a normal one!! I think's it's me that ruins the conversation most of the time though! :( I just don't know what to think or do anymore. Any tips? And why would he keep looking at me in cl (and literally more than 20 times some days)? Could it just be curiousity or what?
